Does anyone know when Omar Bakeries shut down? It was located on 75th & Greenfield Ave in West Allis and the branch manager there in 1955 was Ruby Palmershein. There may have been other locations in the Milwaukee area but this is the only one I am aware of. John Pornath worked there in 1942 before opening Pornath Bros. Bakery on 62nd & National Ave with his brother Joe.

Omar closed on Feb 5th 1966.
