Milwaukee County offers free admission for residents to a few of the county's most popular destinations on specific days.
Visit the Milwaukee Public Museum, the Domes, the Milwaukee Art Museum and the Milwaukee County Zoo for free!
 Tip: remember to bring valid identification noting Milwaukee County residence, which is always a stipulation of free entry.
 
Milwaukee Art Museum
Free general admission every Wednesday. (excludes admission to special exhibits)

Milwaukee Public Museum
Free general admission every Monday, plus $1 off general admission Tuesday - Sunday. (excludes admission to special exhibits)

Mitchell Park Domes
Free general admission every Monday from 9 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. (excluding major holidays)

Milwaukee County Zoo
Free admission days for 2010 include: February 6 and March 6, April 10, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day. County residents also receive a special reduced rate of $7 for adults and $4.50 for children (age 3 to 12) on Wednesdays, and $1.75 off regular Zoo admission every day

2010 Free & Discount Admission Deals
All admission deal exchanges take place at the Mid-Gate promotions tent between the hours of noon and 3 p.m. unless otherwise stated.

Thursday, June 24: Johnson Controls Stomp out Hunger with FOX 6
Bring three non-perishable food items to the Mid-Gate promotions tent or the North Gate between noon and 3 p.m. to receive one free admission ticket. Donations benefit Hunger Task Force.

Thursday, June 24: Miller High Life - Give a Veteran a Piece of the High Life Day
The first 2,000 patrons, 21 and older, who bring six (6) Miller High Life or Miller High Life Light bottle caps between 5 and 7 p.m. will receive one free admission ticket.

Friday, June 25: Cedar Crest "Flip Your Lid at Summerfest" Day
The first 1,500 visitors to come to the Mid-Gate promotions tent with a lid and a receipt for the purchase of one 48 ounce Cedar Crest ice cream, dated between June 1 and June 25, will receive a free admission ticket. From noon to 3 p.m., or while supplies last.

Friday, June 25: U.S. Cellular Giveaway Day
Starting at 5 p.m., the first 5,000 visitors will receive two U.S. Cellular®/Summerfest Gadget Grips and a special accessory offer compliments of U.S. Cellular® and Summerfest. While supplies last.

Saturday, June 26: Goodwill Industries Day
The first 1,500 visitors who bring an original donation receipt, documenting a donation to a Goodwill Store & Donation Center between June 1 - June 26, 2010 will receive one free admission ticket. One admission ticket per person for each donation receipt. Offer good from noon to 3 p.m. or while supplies last.

Saturday, June 26: U.S. Cellular Giveaway Day
Starting at 5 p.m., the first 5,000 visitors will receive one $15 Marcus Restaurant Group Gift Card redeemable at Mason Street Grill, Kil@wat and Milwaukee Chophouse. While supplies last.

Sunday, June 27 : Jockey Family Day
The first 1,000 patrons contributing $10 or more to the Debra Steigerwaldt Waller Foundation will receive one free admission ticket and a Jockey Being Family® Bear. From noon to 3 p.m. or while supplies last.

Sunday, June 27 : Scout Day
Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts in uniform who go to the South Gate promotion booth between noon and 3 p.m. will receive one free admission ticket and a scout scavenger hunt.

Monday, June 28: Sentry Foods and Dean’s Milk & Ice Cream Children’s Fest Day with TODAY’S TMJ4
Visitors arriving between noon and 3 p.m. will be admitted free! Spend a fun-filled day with the family enjoying free Children’s Fest activities including the Map of Fun and Family Ticket Package giveaways. Select food vendors will offer discounts on food and beverage items.

Monday, June 28: Chipotle Mexican Grill Giveaway
Starting at 5 p.m., the first 5,000 visitors will receive one free Chips and Guacamole Card compliments of Chipotle Mexican Grill and Summerfest. Not valid on the Summerfest grounds. While supplies last.

Tuesday, June 29: Kapco's $2 Tuesday
All visitors attending between noon and 6:30 p.m. will receive $2 Summerfest general admission. Kapco's $2 Tuesday tickets can be purchased in advance.

Wednesday, June 30: Klement’s Day
The first 1,500 visitors to bring a Klement's product label (8 oz. or larger) and a non-perishable food item to the Mid-Gate promotions tent between noon and 3 p.m. will receive one free ticket. Donations benefit the Milwaukee Rescue Mission.

Wednesday, June 30: Milwaukee Journal Sentinel "Show Your Smile" Day
All visitors who show up at the Mid-Gate promotions tent between 4 and 7 p.m. wearing a shirt with the special "Show Your Smile" iron-on and have the special Journal Sentinel coupon will receive $7 off a $15 admission. Those who have the coupon, but not the shirt, will receive $5 off. Both the coupon and the iron-on will be available in the Sunday, June 20 edition of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

Thursday, July 1: Northwestern Mutual “Make a Child Smile Day”
The first 1,500 visitors to donate a new children's toy, art supplies or PG or G DVD worth at least $5 will receive one free admission ticket. Items must be in original packaging or have original tags. Proceeds to benefit Children's Hospital of Wisconsin System.

Thursday, July 1: H.O.G. Day
Visitors presenting a valid Harley Owners Group card between noon and 3 p.m. at the tent located at the northwest corner of Chicago Street and Harbor Drive will receive one free admission. Also, H.O.G. members will have exclusive access to the Harley-Davidson Hospitality Deck located at the Harley-Davidson Roadhouse Stage between the hours of 4 and 9 p.m. on July 1. Limited space; first come, first served.

Friday, July 2: Malt-O-Meal Day
The first 1,500 visitors, from noon to 3 p.m., to present a receipt from any grocery store in Wisconsin clearly showing the purchase of two Malt-O-Meal bag cereals of 10 ounces or larger (dated between June 24 and July 2, 2010), will receive one free admission ticket.

Saturday, July 3: CBS 58 Milwaukee / MDA Day
The first 1,500 visitors contributing $10 or more to the Muscular Dystrophy Association between noon and 3 p.m. will receive one free admission ticket.

Sunday, July 4: Free 'til Three Day
All visitors attending between noon and 3 p.m. will receive free admission.
