South Shore Water Frolic
July 12, 13, 14 - 2013

About the Frolics and the Bay View Lions Club
Celebrating its 64rd year in 2013, the South Shore Frolics is one of the oldest festivals in Milwaukee. Originally known as the South Shore Water Frolic, it is currently sponsored by the Bay View Lions Club. Proceeds go to providing support and services to the needy in the community. At the park you will find kids games, fish fry, the annual Classic Car Show and the Frolics Festival of Arts presented by the Bay View Arts Guild

Rounding off each night is the festival's signature Atomic Fireworks display put on by Bartolotta Fireworks; and with the crowds' cries of "Blow-up the beach!", the evening culminates in a percussive onslaught of shells.

PLAN AHEAD!!   Grin

List of Buildings  http://doorsopenmilwaukee.org/buildings/

Many buildings will be open for the entire DOORS OPEN MILWAUKEE event. Others have restricted hours. Check the times. Free guided tours are often available within these 125 buildings which can be visited in any order you like - no tickets or passports are necessary.

We also have 43 in-depth walking tours, all but one requiring a ticket. In some cases these ticketed tours occur inside buildings that also are open for limited self-guided tours without a ticket. See the In-Depth Tours section of this guide for obtaining tickets.

Note: Badge carrying volunteers and one companion are allowed to go to the front of building lines. This is our way of thanking them for donating their time to make Doors Open Milwaukee a success.

Look for the 360 logo to see 360 degree views of the building.

Look for the DOORS OPEN MILWAUKEE banner near the building entrance.
