Part of the River Bend Shopping Center on 76th & Oklahoma Ave for many years until Gawlitta's moved in. Was a real rite of passage when our dad first took me and my brothers to get shoes there in the Sixties. The men's shoes were on the lower level. They had a big buffalo head mounted on the wall opposite the carpeted stairs as you went down. I remember a very tall silver-haired salesman working the men's department. I don't think I ever knew his name but he was always very polite and helpful. Was he one of the owners?

Boy, I just have recollection of that Shoe Store. Embarrassed

I remember going to Kinney`s and Thom Mcan .

There was a little shoe store on 13th st. just north of Oklahoma ave. It had a Polish name. Bartinski`s or something like that. I bought a couple pairs of "hood" shoes there back around 1965. Cheesy

In high school I went to Johnnie Walkers on Mitchell St.  Wink And I think I remember a place called Hardy`s.
