3131 South Kinnickinnic Avenue

Hi, a Pizza Hut is now at this address. But years ago (1970 and earlier), I recall the property held a big white stone building. Anyone know what it was? I heard it was a bowling alley.

The 1962 City Directory shows 3133 as Muzzy's Tap. May have been part of the parcel that is now 3131?

 I will take a stab at this. Was it a place called Francesa's? Or something similar.

 I used to live on Idaho and Nevada in the mid 80's for about 5 years. KK & Oklahoma were walking distance from my home. I seem to recall something like that before the pizza hut. I really liked that area back then. It was blue collar cool. I think some of the KK area is a little hipster doofus now if I am correct.

I thought Franseca`s was right on KK and Oklahoma. Having a Oklahoma ave. address. I know there was a pizza place just north of Oklahoma on KK that started with a "P" in it`s name. An Italian name.

 I am sure that there was an Arthur Treachers fish and chips at the corner or very near it.
