Ryan Braun's suspension is overturned, the PS Vita was released, and I nabbed an item I never thought I could obtain. My two big theaters were The Lincoln, and The Modjeska. My best 'young kid' memory of theaters is the Riverside where Edgar Bergen performed in the early 40's. And the Ritz(?) on Villard where my brother and I watched 'Snakepit'. Even finding PICTURES of the Egyptian is damn near impossible :\ The Ritz aka The Villa closed in 1986, it was reopened for just a bit in 1990-95. Never had the pleasure of visiting this one. Has anyone ever gone to the Garfield on MLK (3rd) just south of Center? |
