Title: Artiste Pizza
Post by: rarch1959 on October 17, 2010, 07:12:28 PM
Does anyone remember Artiste Pizza?  My parents used to take us there in the mid/late 70's.  I believe it was on the west side.  They had fantastic pizza, made w/o sauce, but had butter instead.  Wondering if anyone knows where the owners went or if anyone uses there recipe.  I believe they were from Alaska.

I saw the 1982 article in the Google archive. Jerome Crandall was the owner of Artiste Creative Pizzas. Looks like he was way ahead of his time. The location was at 3256 S. 92nd St.
